Career at Brac. BRAC, is an international development organization based in Bangladesh. In order to receive foreign donations, BRAC was subsequently registered under the NGO Affairs Bureau of the Government of Bangladesh. BRAC is the largest non-governmental development organization in the world. In terms of number of employees as of September 2016.

Until the mid-1970s, BRAC concentrated on community development through village development programs. Including agriculture, fisheries, cooperatives, rural crafts, adult literacy, health and family planning, vocational training for women, and construction of community centers.

A Research and Evaluation Division (RED) was set up to evaluate its activities and decide the direction. And in 1977, BRAC began taking a more targeted approach by creating Village Organisations.

Project Manager Job Responsibilities career at brac

  • Implementation of BRAC’s Emergency Nutrition Responses under Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme in Cox’s Bazar.
  • Provide overall technical support for developing the adapted training materials, job aids, IIEC.
  • Ensure materials and monitoring tools for nutrition support.
  • Develop guideline, schedule, action points for conducting group meetings and courtyard meetings
  • Provide input for proposal development and drive fundraising activities for program growth.
  • Provide guidance to the nutrition team for efficient program implementation.
